Who is Jesus, facts about Jesus


TEXT: LUKE 9:18-20, Matthew 16:16-17, Isaiah 58:1, Galatians 5:16-25

INTRODUCTION:
As Jesus Ministry when he was physically here on earth gradually drew to the end He asked His disciples a question ‘who do the people say that I am?

Jesus prayed in the hour of revelation. This was a time of training and concentration more on the 12 Apostles rather than the multitude Jesus wanted to know the revelation the Apostles had of Him or how well they knew him, all the while they had been with Him.

The revelation of who you know Jesus to be in your life that is who He’ll be to you. ‘and Jesus asked His Apostles in condition, ‘who do you say that I am?’

So who is Jesus to you at any given circumstance of life?

QUESTIONS:-
1. Do you know who Jesus is personally or do you have a general knowledge based on what others say of Him.
2. From Philippians 3:10, what would you say responsible for the success of Paul’s Ministry?
3. What would happen to a Christian who has no revelation in life? Luke 9:19
4. From Isaiah 53:1, who have a revelation, from whom and how?
5. Differentiate between revelation that is fleshly and that which is of the spirit live examples.
6. What must we do from now on so we can do all things by God’s revelation and be fulfilled in life.

MEMORY VERSE: LUKE 9:20 – He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.
