I want to thank you Mrs. Kalenga R. for posting that prayer. I wrote it down in my prayer journal and I intend on praying that prayer whenever I feel the urge to masturbate. I fully intend on getting in the Word also. I feel like I’m missing out on a number of things simple because I have this disgusting habit. Well no more!!! The same for everyone else! This can be mind boggling to know that a spouse is masturbating. However, praying for your spouse is helpful, even if you do not yet see any results at this time.
Sometimes we have to look past the surface and find out what the actual problem is to the behavior that keeps accruing over and over in a person’s life. And if it is someone that we love dearly it may be hard to see the root of the problem.
I pray that God will give you the wisdom and knowledge along with the strength to see what is going on and how to deal with the situation. I pray that any heart felt pain that you may be experiencing be healed.
Sometimes we must pray for the person because they may not be strong enough to pray for themselves and remember that some things come out by fasting and prayer. This is very true!

I masturbate and it’s very hard to stop knowing that I’m trying to stop because it is sin. I have a heavy mantle on my life and is called to be a prophet in the future, and it just feels bad to masturbate and know you’re doing wrong. Hi everyone. am really sorry to know people who have tried to leave this terrible sin with no avail. i was once a victim of this since early child hood..over the years i used to do it every now and then then asked the Lord to 4give me and i ended up falling for it. it even got worse when i started watching porn online and it fed it to the core.. 1 time i had a bad fantasy as if an animal is doing me oral and i watched it online and i go masturbate(never practically let an animal do it coz i dont have domestic animals). sometimes i will stay a month vigilantly without doing and then fantases fall on me, i go online look at videos of women having oral with animals and i go ahead and masturbate. it went on for so long. 1 day i looked back and i said, “this is removing lots of blessings from me, things that the Lord would have done, the Angel of God comes with it and finds out there are pervertive things on me He goes back with them” alot of things my bros and sis and not coming our way due to sins that we commit…in Psalms 66 it says, “When i regard any iniquity in me, the Lord will not hear me.” i kneeled down in my room with Holy Anger, strong determination and desire to quite. i said “enough is enough Lord come my way,,” i then cried like a baby to the Holy Spirt,, i said ” Holy Spirt of God, the all-knowing and all-seeing, the 1 who has wisdom and strength, help me cause i’ve tried to do it my way but looks like i fail, ur my strenght, the name of our Lord Jesus is the righteous tower, we ur righteous run and we’re delivered, plse deliver me with the mighty power that u resurected Jesus our Lord from the dead, u and only u can do this for me…” i really prayed and i meant it from the bottom of my heart, coz i knew i really tried this thing to quit by my ownself but never worked. i sighted the word and i let it sink into my being and i shouted it loud to him…He heard me coz i believed.

My dear ones, nothing is impossible with God and bcoz of ur sincerety the Lord is able, just yield to His Mighty Spirt only him he can do it..imagine if the Spirit of God was able to change a God to a son of man(Jesus Christ) and turned sons of man to sons of God, how much more the pervesions that he sent his son for it? we cannot do it on our own but through him with our willing determination.

I first of all want to give thanks to the Lord for leading me to this site.
Yes well, what can i say, I have the same problem. I also know, that we sould confess our sins to one another, and that the feverish prayer of a righteous person have great power.
And i’ve been praying, for me to get the change to confess, to bring whats’ been happening in the darkness into the light.
So herewith I confess that I have sinned against God, by means of masturbating. It’s unfortunately not something one is proud of, and it’s not something you would want to tell your neighbours or your friends. You just want to hide it, because you feel so ashamed and so guilty. The guilt trips makes steeling look like nothing.
So, at the end, after confessing, and repentance, we don’t need to feel ashamed anymore, because it’s been washed away with the blood of Jesus, and He will never think about it again.
The problem is keeping it up. We can repent hundreds of times and do it over and over again, same guilt trip, starting from scratch again.
What works for me is to remind myself where does it comes from. What is causing this to happen, and that is not of God. It cannot be from God, because it makes you feel unworthy and ashamed of yourself.
So the bottom line for me is to recocnize the attack of the enemy and what it is trying to do, and to resist. The bible speaks of the renewal of the mind, so I need to constanly remind myself that this is not from the Lord, and I don’t need this in my life. Because I believe it’s blocking the blessings/anointing.
But the bible aslo says the flesh is weak, so if need be, I rebuke the enemy out loud. And also, resist the enemy and it will flee from you. But the problem is, we don’t resist, it’s easier to give in to the flesh than to be obedient. But it’s a case of meditation like someone said earlier and prayer. And of course, you have to make a concious decision.
This my what I wanted to share. I know now, it’s out in the open. Thank you Jesus for giving me this opportunity. Thanks for answering my prayers.
And so I pray that he will deliver each and everyone from the demons that’s causing us to masturbate, and to rebuke/resist the enemy and remember, the choice is yours.

I’m also a christian and i’ve been struggling with masturbation and pornography for fourteen years now. It has destroyed my body and probably had severe detrimental effects on my soul as well. Sometimes I manage to stop for a few months but then I start all over again. …..FAST AND PRAY……Even Jesus said that some of these demons cannot be expelled by any other way…I had this problem for a long time….And I know your pain…I have overcome the habit …Fasting is the best way to crucify the flesh… It is easier than you think….Try a 3 day fast and you will break the habit…

If you have read the comments above you will notice that this is a very powerful habitual sin that has and will continue to have control over you if you don’t get help. You need make a final decision to ask Jesus for help, and by way of prayer at least once preferably two or three times per day make contact with Jesus and ask for His help. Write down a simply heart felt prayer and learn it (see 2nd post above for example).
Firstly we need to make the decision that we are not going to do this any more and from that point on we don’t turn back. Knowing that we can’t do it by ourselves ask Jesus for help via a prayer. You may notice that certain actions that we do throughout the day feed and greatly contribute to this habit, like looking at people in a lustful way or thinking lustful thoughts about others. If you watch youself as you walk the shopping mall you will notice that your eyes are darting from person to person looking uncontrollably in a lustful manner, even watching television you can catch yourself looking lustfully at people and this all contibutes to keep this habit alive.
What I found helful in the beginning is that whenever you catch yourself doing this stop it immediately, take approximately 6 slow and deep breaths while relaxing your entire body (begin with the small muscles in your face). While doing this prepare to make the prayer to Jesus and ask for His help and do that once you have finished your last relaxing breath. Its helpful to think about all the places that you usually begin lusting over people and prepare beforehand to catch yourself because it happens very quickly and you can be absorbed doing this for sometimes 30 minutes before you realise it. It can also help to change your focus and look at people of the same gender (that are not attractive to you) and notice the clothes and colors they are wearing. Try to get to the point that you don’t even begin to lust over others and this may take a few weeks. If you sincerely ask Jesus for help He will intervene and come into your life.
