My husband and I go to separate churches. I congregate with fellow born against at a pentecostal church and his church is the arch-enemy of pentecostals or born again christians and he always threatens me with divorce saying that I am possessed by demons which is not true. This has been going on for almost 5 years now and its a major point of contention in my marriage. He does not even allow me to do bible study with our 3 children saying that I will impart demons on them. I have tried to congregate with him at his church but my spiritual life suffered terribly and I was not at peace at all. I talked to him about it but he said that a wife has to be submissive in everything. Please help me.

I have been married for 5 years, my husband and I got married young but we were in love. A lot has happened in these 5 years and now he says he doesn’t want to married anymore. My heart is broken and i have prayed about our situation, all though the feelings aren’t the same as in the beginning I still love this man to death. I took my vows very serious and I am not willing to give up. He is trying to shut me out of his life and I need the Lord to speak to his heart and let me back in. He says he still loves me but that he loves me enough to let me go. He says he has prayed and this is the answer he was given, but I don’t believe that because God would not want us to give up. He prayed with clouded judgement, he had already made up his mine. This is not the will of God but the work of the devil. I ask for your prayers that God will speak to him and tell him this is not the answer. Lord mend my marriage.

My husband of 27 years, so suddenly & unexpectedly left me & our children 4 years ago for a young mistress – & has started a new family. He abandoned us & even his respo
nsibilities. It’s been quite hard for us esp. w/ our finances as he has stopped supporting us. Great family damage & resentment followed. I believe in the sanctity of Marriage. There was a time I too thought of suicide because it’s been very hard for the children & me. He has turned from a good husband & father to an indifferent, hard, selfish, & cruel man. He could just have been tempted & maybe too, black magic may have been used on this illicit relationship. I want my marriage & my family to be restored although it seems impossible. Great damage has already been done. I believe it is God’s will that nothing & no one should break a marriage apart – for it’s sacred to God. Please help me pray & also to cast out the evil spirits involved in our family mess. And that our marriage, our family, whole family line, & our finances may be restored. Please pray for my husband. We have been separated for 6 years already but during those years, we still see each other and got back together thrice. His other woman left him and he now seeing another. Please pray that he will find his way back to his real family so that we can re-build our marriage and provide a better future for our children. Please pray for my marriage. My husband is incarcerated, and has been for the past two years, and is scheduled for two more. God spoke in my heart many years ago that this man is the one He has for me. Since we have been married, and since my husband has been incarcerated, he has not been trustful of me, and anything I do. He does not trust me whatsoever, and I have never given him any valid reason to think I would ever cheat on him. Prior to us coming together, he was in a serious relationship, but he was cheated on many times, and was damaged behind that. Now, I feel I am getting the brunt of everything he has been through. He needs major healing, and so do I. Strife, division, etc. are tearing us apart, and God has told me to hold my peace, but I always let my flesh take over and get into arguments with my husband. I told him I wanted to divorce him because he said I make him want to be with other women. So, now he says he only said that because of how I make him feel, but he would never do it. So, now he is mad at me for telling him I want a divorce, so now he says he will not forgive me until I suffer for hurting him. There are many complex issues, but please pray as God leads you.

I have read all of the testimonies and i must say that im really touch. im going through the same thing me and my husband has done wrong but i was able to forgive him and he put me and my child out of his family home, but i have been blessed to have a lady name deborah ruffin in my life she keeps me and my husband in prayer and im hurt but my heart is not so heavy. i was told to thank god in advance for mending your marriage, and god said where there are two or more he is there in the mist of it all.

I have read these comments and I am touch and moved by this. I’m a 21 year old male who got married at 20. Me and my wife has been through many ups and downs but it was due to my insecurties and clingy nature. I just love to be close and feel close but I guess i did it wrong. We have two kids a 1 YEAR old and a 3 month old and all of a sudden things slowly changed because of built of stress and lack of communication between us. And She decided one day to Get a divorce. My husband and I have been married for 13 years but we have never lived together for a total of year. I never knew that he doesnt believe in marriage. We were seriously in love for 6 years before our wedding and our marriage is blessed with four children. Even though he takes care of our financial needs, he does not want us to live together because he loves a bachelor’s lifestyle. I and my husband used to be as happy as love birds. 5yrs into the. marriage, no child. My husband became wayward and his family encouraged him . He got one of the girls pregnant ,left me, and moved in with the girl.
One day he started me to forgive him and take him back. I agreed but my people refused and warned me to stay clear of him. We leaved apart but still contact each other.
