Genesis 30 vs 22
And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.
- Rachael and Leah, two sisters, married Jacob at the same time.
- Rachael was barren, whereas Leah gave birth to many children.
- When Rachael saw she was barren, she gave her maidservant to her husband.
- The maid gave birth, but Rachael remained barren.
- Leah also gave his maid to Jacob; she gave birth, but Rachael remained barren.
- Many children were born in the presence of Rachael in her husband’s house.
- It was possible Rachael could have given up becoming a mother.
- The Bible says that one faithful day, God remembers Rachael, and she became a mother.
- Rachael also testifies that God has rolled away her reproach.
- The truth is that there is nobody that God forgets.
- He remembers the afflictions people are passing through and rolls away these afflictions in his own time.
- All you need to do is be patient and trust God.
