Genesis 4 vs 15

And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

1. After Cain murdered his brother, God cursed him and declared him a fugitive and vagabond all over the earth.
2. However, Cain pleaded for mercy even though he had blood in his hand.
3. Cain pleaded for his life because he was afraid he would be identified and killed for the murder he committed.
4. Immediately, God answered Cain’s prayer and put a mark on him so that others would not murder him.
5. If God could pardon a murderer who asked for mercy, there is no sin you have committed that God can not pardon you if you repent.
6. If God pardon a murderer, you should also be willing to pardon anyone who offends you, no matter how griefy the offence is.
