Genesis 22 vs 1

And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.

Genesis 22:1 Some time later God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" "Here I am," he answered.

  1. God made several promises to Abraham.
  2. God also made a covenant with Abraham.
  3. God also appeared to Abraham in visions and dreams and assured him all those promises would come to pass.
  4. But the Bible also says God tested Abraham.
  5. If you walk with God, God will test your faithfulness and cause you to be tempted.
