And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

There are many contrary messages, and deception is so easy.
Jesus Christ warned that you should be careful not to be deceived.
The only way to avoid being deceived is by reading the Bible yourself.
Unfortunately, there is a lot of spiritual laziness. People are too lazy to read the Bible and want the Bible to be interpreted by the man of God.
If you are unfortunate to be under a man of God that interprets the Bible to suit his purpose, you may fall into error.
Make sure you read the Bible yourself not to be deceived.
