Deuteronomy 7 vs 2-And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

1. God hates idolatry
2. In the Old Testament, He commanded idols to be destroyed, and commanded the Israelites not to have association with idolaters.
3. Your best friends should be Christians not unbelievers.
