Christians are supposed to avoid not only sins, but things that looked like sin. Believers are counselled to abstain not only from evil, but things that looked life evil

  1. Drinking strong wine and alcohols is not evil, but an appearance of evil, so flee from it.
  2. Drinking a glass of beer may not be a sinful act, but may lead you to sin, so avoid it.
  3. Smoking is not stated as a sin in the Bible, but an appearance of evil, so quit smoking.
  4. Masturbation is not stated as a sin in the Bible, but an indication of uncontrolled sexual passion, so avoid it.
  5. Watching ungodly, romantic, action, violent, adventurous movies may not be an act of sin, but may corrupt your morals, therefore abstain from it.

    Thank you Man of God. Your message of the word of God has been an inspiration to me.

    I sincerely appreciate it as it keeps me closer to God and help me have a second decision when thinking if doing things that re ungodly.
