Would God forgive my terrible sins?

Memorise: “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (Eph 5:16)

Read: Mark 2:1-12

During a trial of faith, God wants to know how elastic your faith is. He will take your faith beyond certain limits, sometimes, even up to breaking point. Yet, He is still in control. To remain intact, keep your faith in the Lord. Are you going through a period of hardship? You will not go under. The Lord will see you through in Jesus’ Name. Isaiah 6:9-12 says it is possible to be staring but not seeing. You can be looking at something but concentrating on what you should not. When you go on the way, you would see all kinds of things, people and events. When you see the opposite sex in nude form, if you concentrate on that, you will be in trouble. Each time you look at the wrong thing, you may not see what you were meant to see. This year, may your eyes see only what God wants them to see in Jesus’ Name.confessions sin

God said He wants the eyes of the people blinded and their hearts fattened with prosperity so that they will not repent and be healed. This tells us that when prosperity comes, it can be a blessing or a curse. Not all those you see getting fat are really blessed. They may just be fattened for the slaughter slab. The heart of Nabal was fattened with wine.

What followed was his obituary (1 Samuel 25:36-38 ). The heart of some become so fattened that they are prone to a heart attack. God’s blessing does not bring you sorrow. Your blessing will not become your undoing in Jesus’ Name. We also learn that repentance brings healing. In today’s passage, when the paralytic was brought, Jesus first forgave his sins before healing him. I have told my children that if a believer is sick and all prayer effort fails, it is advisable to check if there is an unconfessed sin. Sometimes, people prefer to die than confess their sin.

A woman was sick and defied all prayers. When I asked God what was responsible, He asked me to ask her. Initially, she refused to confess but after persuading her that it could assist her healing, she said she was the second wife of her husband. The first wife died and left two boys. Not wanting the boys to inherit the property of her husband, she killed them. She said if her husband knew, he would kill her. She said if confession was the condition for her healing, she was better dead.

Are there pending issues you need to confess? Do so today so that you can be healed. According to Ephesians 5:16, until confession is made, you may not access certain breakthroughs in your health or finance.

Pray for the success of your local church programmes this period.
