Warfare prayers: My Red sea must part!

Posted on Updated on

Memorise: “Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;” (Ps 114:7)Read: Psalm 114:1-8
red seaIn Exodus 14:13-22 the Israelites had left Egypt and got to the bank of the Red Sea. They were about to settle down for a picnic when they heard the sound of the Egyptian army coming right behind them. Then the Lord asked Moses to stretch his rod over the sea. When he did, an east wind began to blow until it parted the sea into two and created a path in-between. That wind was none other than the Holy Spirit.

Today’s reading says when the wind began to blow, the sea saw it and fled. Why? The sea recognised the presence of the Holy Spirit and had no choice than to bow to its Maker. Whenever the wind blows, power is released. In Acts 2:1-4, on the day of Pentecost, the wind blew and the power of the Most High was released, and the Red Sea of language uniformity was divided and a path was created in its midst for men and women to speak the languages they never learnt.

Also, in Genesis chapter one, after the earth turned into a colossal mess, the wind blew over the waters, parted the Red Sea of chaos, and paved a way for order and restoration. Are you at the shore of the Red Sea of delay, poverty, stagnancy, or retrogression? The wind of the Spirit will blow over you, part your Red Sea and create a path for you this season.

After the children of Israel saw the Red Sea part before their eyes, they refused to move because the waters had become walls, on the right hand and on the left. One lesson here is that when God parts your Red Sea or problem, He uses the same problem to form your protection or defence. Do you know those who are fighting your promotion are the same people God will use to secure you from intruders after He has promoted you?

This simply means that even your enemies could turn out to be your helpers when the wind of the Spirit blows. Ask the wind of the Holy Spirit to blow over that nagging problem today. When problems see this wind, they will have no option than to flee. In the Name of Jesus Christ, every Red Sea before you will see the wind of the Holy Spirit and flee for good. It shall be well with you.

Father, as You part my Red Sea this season, cause those who fought against my progress to also fight for my progress.
