Does God accept all offerings and tithes?

Posted on Updated on

Memorise: “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” (Jn 14:30)Read: Deuteronomy 23:17-18
tithesAnother divine partnership requirement is that one must not touch unclean things. John 14:30 says, “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me”. What you get involved with will determine if you can be God’s partner or not. Your hands refer to the means by which you fend for yourself – particularly the right hand.If you are involved in any dubious business, you cannot be His partner. If you make a living from prostitution, you cannot be His partner. Deuteronomy 23:18 says, “Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow; for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God”.Those sisters who promise brothers marriage intending to derive only monetary and material blessings from them are increasing by lies. They cannot be God’s partner. The promotion or favours you obtain from flirtatious flings with your boss or leader amounts to dogs’ wages. If you tithe such supposed ‘windfall’, you can be assured it is an abomination to God.Unfortunately, several testimonies by some believers glorify Satan and should never have been shared in church in the first place.

If you took bribes at your work place and purchased a car, built a house or performed some feat, God cannot be your partner. You have touched the unclean thing and your hands are defiled. If you paid tithes on such money, your pastor will thank you if his spiritual eyes and ears are not open, but God will reject it.

So much tithes, seeds and gifts brought to the church have no rewards because the hands of the givers are defiled. Any increase that comes to you out of lies, deception, immorality, or any form of sinfulness must be rejected. If you must be a partner of the King of kings, your hands must not touch anything that defiles. What is it you are doing that could prevent you from being a partner of the Lord? Repent, and turn a new leaf today.

Are your hands and heart clean?
