  • The first and most important thing is your self will and determination. You must be willing to come out of masturbation and lead a normal sexual life in a marriage. So settle it in your mind and develop a strong desire to quit masturbation and other sex sins.
  • You may need to change your friends. Most people are introduced into masturbation by friends and peers. If your friends are into masturbation, you need to drop them in order to drop their habits.
  • The Bible says evil communications corrupts good morals. Censor your ears and eyes, and watch what your look or listen to. If you are fond of listening to music or films that are full of sexual overtones, then the spirit of sex will be influencing and controlling your mind.
  • Feed your spirit. Every sexual act feeds the body. The spirit feeds on the word of God while the body feeds on carnal desires. If you on fire spiritually, you are likely to think more of spiritual things rather than carnal things. Read the Bible, fast and pray. Fellowship with believers.
  • Be attached with your spouse. The Bible says it is better to get married than to engage in fornication. If you are a person that has a large sexual appetite, then it is better you get married and always ensure your nature of job does not separate you from your spouse for a long time.
  • Expose your weaknesses. Evil thrives in secrecy. Share your sexual weaknesses with your Parents, Guardians, Counselors and Church leaders and ask them to pray for you.

With determination I was able to beat the evil influence of not only masturbation in my life, but also other unnatural acts like eating, sleeping and laughing. It is such a relief to be so utterly under the influence of traditions whose original purpose was to accumulate wealth and make willing soldiers. I am so filled with the spirit of belief where once only my own will existed that life has become simplicity itself.   14. I had the same problem, and it started early on in childhood. I still struggle with it, but with God’s help, I’ve gotten much better at self-control. Whenever you feel the slightest impulse, immediately turn to Him! Shift your focus and pray! But if you weren’t able to prevent it from happening, don’t dwell on your failures…it will only lead you deeper into sin. Ask God for forgiveness. Remember God loves you no matter what!

  15. For me i stumbled across it on accident at like age 13. Its taken me 5 years but im FINALY FREE of this terrible sin. THIS IS EXACTLY HOW I DID IT.

    1st You have to know, and i meen really know with all your heart that you want to stop now and forever. You need to have that feeling of wanting to please GOD and not yourself. If this is true then Beg God, pray for his help and ask that he will deliver you from this temptation and give you a way out.

    2nd REMEMBER THIS: this is what did it for me. Know that God chose you to be his deciple. No one ever came to God, but he drew us to him. Also you have to know what being a deciple meens. A deciple is more than a student. A Deciple is more like an apprentice. So to be a Deciple meens that God is molding you to do what he does. GOD HAS FAITH IN YOU, AND CHOSE YOUR BEFORE YOU WERE EVEN BORN TO BE HIS FALLOWER. Thats the Key remember GOD has FAITH in YOU. So give up your life to him and do his Will instead of your own.

    3rd Read the Bible every day. Now i didnt read the bible every day. I tried but ended up reading more like every 2 days and didnt read much. But this is a huge support. Any time you feel bord and want to look up a girl on the internet, read the bible instead. James is an awsome book review that a bunch O times.

    4th Last and Easiest. Have faith that God will fill you with the Holy Spirit and you will stop this sin for good.

    Seriously thats it. It wasnt terribly hard. If you really want to stop you can for good. I stoped Cold Turkey and havnt done it for like 5 months. and this is coming from a guy who sometimes did it twice a day. Usually around 4-6 times a week on average though. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

We do have His word, we definitely should be making a stronger standpoint to commit to filling our spirit more than our flesh, we do have to make that effort to trade off… but fear not and do not sorrow if you fail, Jesus is there even if you try to hide… God still wondered where Adam was when He sinned… do you really think He’s going to forget about you? I assure you, even thru the willful sin of this particular sin that deep part inside of your soul is crying to God, the flesh can try all it wants to hide the crys of your soul, but God sees right thru it, and sent Jesus for you to go to.     this can be applied to other things like drugs etc, whatever the flesh wants to tie itself into, satan knows your weakness but you have already the victory inside of you, That is Jesus… Understand who this man is and what He’s done for you, and if you haven’t accepted Him as your Lord and savior, do it today… there’s many ways to do it, i’m no preacher just regular human being that makes mistakes and have grown to believe in the work He set out to do in me and has much to do but He definitely has done something and its important for all of us not to forget that.

    “Jesus I’m sorry for my sins, please forgive, I confess that I am a sinner and that I need to be forgiven, I believe that you died for my sins, I believe that you died on the cross, and rose again on the third day, I need you to save me I need you to reign inside my heart, my mind, and my spirit, and my life.”

    He hears you in anyway that you want to ask Him… its your personal relationship with Him, this isn’t no text book he’s your dad, you friend, your brother… He’s the one you can trust, all the way, isn’t that awesome having someone that you can trust..   45. I have been struggling with this, and it is a powerful, sinful urge. I started at almost 14 years of age, and it started as somethign I did once every few months. But now, at 15 it has become unbearable. I am struggling to break free, I sometimes get away for it for 2 weeks or so, but something drags me back to it. I have tried so many things, but I can’t seem to halt the urges. It’s as if my brain stops working properly when these powerful urges come into play. I have been trying to break free, trying to escape this cruel, habitual sin, but it’s dragging me back into the ruts. I want to stop, it’s hurting me to continue because it’s like a horrid poison on my soul, but it’s effects always return to me. You can’t help but feel numb and lonely because of what you do but praise be to Jesus that He found a way into our hearts. To all that are reading, you come in search of answers on how to stop masturbating the answer is simple; it is Jesus who shall save you today. Call for Him as you fall and He shall come to you and save you from your sin. Jesus will wipe away your tears and He will guide you through the Holy Spirit.   69. i want to bless the lord for my life and family, that the lord did not alow the tempter to destroy my life with the spirit of mastubation. I was deliverd some certain time but unfortunately i ran back..but to God be the glory for his mercy nd love which he use to save me again on the 17th of this month..
