Christian sermons and prayers: Spiritual gates and gatekeepers

“And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate” –Isaiah 28 vs. 6

Every physical being either animate or inanimate has a physical gate. The gate to the body is the mouth, every house or office has a gate, and every street has an entrance that serves as the gate, when you are entering a town, there is usually a port of entrance and that is the city gate, and the sea port and airports are gates to the nation..

In most cases, every Physical Gate is manned by a power. The lips and tongues are soldiers guarding entrance into the mouth; the security officer/Gate man is the power that monitors entrance into a house or office, the burglary proof is the power that monitors entrance a room, and immigration officers are at the airport to monitor entrance.

 

If the power that guards a physical gate does not allow you to come in, there is no way you can enter an office, residence, city or nation. The lips are the gateman of the mouth, if your lips that guards your mouth are not opened, no food or drink can enter your mouth. The Gateman guarding the office must give  you a pass to come in before you can enter into any office to transact any business. if the immigration officers do not give necessary access, a foreign visitor, however how important, cannot enter a nation. Even the Bible says that Heaven has a gate, through which angels ascend and descend.

 

The gate is therefore very strategic and important in order to gain entrance into a space to achieve a purpose. In the ancient times, nations do not joke with the city gates. Battles are won and lost at the city gates. The city gates are usually heavily fortified and protected. Once and enemy is able to overcome the Guardsmen at the city gate, the inhabitants of the city surrender to the invaders.

 

It is for this simple reason that very high city walls and security posts are erected around ancient towns in order restrict a monitor access.   The children of Israel could not possess Jericho until the city walls crumbled. It took seven days of divinely inspired march round the city before the won the battle at the gates.

Just as there physical gates, there are also spiritual gates. The highpoint of my message today is that just as every house or street, or residence or nation has a physical gate, there are also spiritual gates to every house, office, street, town and nation.

 

Just as there are Gate men guarding physical gates, there are also spirit beings guarding spiritual gates.

 

Just as the physical gate men must give you permission before you can enter an office or residence or city or nation, there are also spiritual gatemen guarding the houses, offices, streets, and nations

 

The crux of the matter is that there are spiritual gates in the entrance of houses, offices, streets, and nations and Satan has delegated evil angels to guard the entrances to prevent Christians from coming in to possess their possessions and unless you are able to overcome these evil gatemen you may not be able to receive your blessings from these offices, homes, streets or nations

 

It is quite possible to enter into a place in the physical realm and to have been prevented from entering that same place in the spiritual realm. In most cases, we enter into places through only the physical gate but unknowingly we have been hindered from entering through the spiritual gate. It is quite possible for you to enter an office through only the physical gate and been disallowed from entering that office through the spiritual gate.

 

Since it is the spiritual that controls the physical if you are not able to enter the office through the spiritual gate, you may not receive your blessings in that office.

 

This calls for deep understanding and underlines the reason for the failure of most people to receive blessings where there are supposed to be blessed. The simple reason is that satanic angels have hindered them from entering the spiritual gates of the places

 

This is one of the reasons when people experience rejection and disfavour where they should be accepted and favour. They only entered through the physical gate and were disallowed from entering that same places of blessings through the spiritual gates.

 

Christian needs to move around with understanding. Before you enter any building where you are looking for favour, you have to know there is a physical and spiritual gate to the building manned by a physical and spiritual gateman. The physical gateman may allow you to enter, but the spiritual gateman may not allow you. Therefore you may enter a building physically, but spiritually your entrance might have been blocked and this will manifest in not being successful regarding your endeavor to that building.

 

We can only overcome evil spiritual gatemen through the wisdom of God. God has instructed us to take the battle to the gate and pronounce judgment on evil gatekeepers

God expects us to take the battles to the gates. There are spiritual gates to the destiny of where you are living and working. Though you cannot see these gates, you need to pray in faith and overcome these gates.

 

1. a. Unless you overcome the evil gatemen standing at the gates of your success, you cannot achieve a breakthrough.
2. b. Unless you address and paralyse the powers standing at the gate of that office you are looking for favour, you are likely going to come out of the place empty handed.
3. c. There are strongholds of darkness preventing Christians from entering in to the gates of their canaaland  and unless their  destroyed the person will remain in the wilderness.

Christians must identify the physical and spiritual gates to their residences, offices, streets, cities, and countries and pray to overcome every evil gateman that may be standing at these gates to restrict entrance.

 

The simple truth is you need to take authority over these evil gatemen, overcome them before you can possess your possessions.

Stand in between the entrance of the door to your office or house or street and say this prayer:

 

1. Evil gateman diverting my blessings, somersault and die in Jesus name
2. Evil gate men controlling the destiny of my street, I overcome you in Jesus name.
3. You spiritual gates to place of breakthroughs, receive the blood of Jesus.
4. I enter by fire every physical and spiritual door to my breakthroughs in Jesus name.
5. Gates to be breakthrough, open now in Jesus name
6. Gates of heaven open for my sake in Jesus name.
