Prayers to overcome barreness

RELEASING YOUR HELPERS by Pastor Enoch Adeboye
Memorise: “And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb” (Gen 30:22)
Read: Exodus 2:23-25

“And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb” (Gen 30:22).

Several years after marriage, Rachel the heart throb of Jacob was childless. She tried all she could but nothing came out. But one day, the Lord remembered her and opened her womb. Have you been trusting God for children without success? All you need is for God to remember you, and your womb will open.

There is a devoted user of this Devotional: the Lord has just remembered your devotion to Him. All your years of barrenness are over. You will carry your child this time next year. When it comes to pass, remember to give God thanks and testify to His glory.

Another benefit of divine remembrance is that it releases helpers to you. After being enslaved for over 400 years, the children of Israel cried out in agony unto God, and He remembered His covenant with Abraham. Thereafter, He looked for a saviour to lead them out of slavery. When God remembers you, He will cause your helpers to seek you. However, attention should be directed to the Lord and not to any man.

If the Israelites were to seek a deliverer, they would never have thought of Moses. They would have remained hopeless. Their focus was on the Lord. God knows the helpers He has destined to help you. He knows those He has appointed to salvage you from that situation in which you cannot help yourself. Call on Him and He will release your helpers to you.

In addition, 1 Samuel 1:19 tells us that when God remembered Hannah, she conceived. Conception is a product of divine remembrance. It is ideas that rule our world. In power generation, transportation, electronics, recreation, communications, and every facet of life, ideas have been generated to take us to where we are.

Without ideas, you cannot get to the next level. Ideas are the vehicle through which you can be conveyed to your promised land. Until God remembers you, that winning idea may elude you. This season, the Lord will remember you and the ideas you need will come to you in Jesus’ Name.

Father, send helpers to your church to meet her needs. Lord, make me a divine treasurer to move your Kingdom forward.
