The first ‘gay marriage’ license has been issued in South America.

Mimicking a dreadfully familiar practice in the USA, two Argentine men sued the city of Buenos Aires for not marrying them; a renegade judge heard their case, overthrew the law of the land which defines marriage in Argentina as solely heterosexual, and granted them a marriage license.

The mayor of Buenos Aires said the city would not appeal the judge’s decision. That leaves room for thousands of gay couples to marry in Buenos Aires after Dec. 1st, which is when the two men are planning what may be the first same-sex wedding in Latin America.

That is precisely how ‘gay marriage’ was initiated in both Iowa and California.

What we do with marriage in the USA sets a precedent for other nations and continents.

What is happening at this moment in Argentina runs the risk of perverting justice and compassion throughout South America.

Please pray for the marriage instituion  in Argentina.

You say, I raised all my children the same way, how come this one is problem?

1)                  Congratulation on succeeding with your other kids! You’re ahead of the curve. A good family rules is pray about your shortcoming; focus on your time and attention. Though it doesn’t feel natural, reduce your intense concentration on your problem child. Stop fixing them, enjoy all your children, and watch things improve.

2)                  Children develop at different rates and in different ways. Many problem children are just late arrives; give them the time they need.

3)                  Most families have a black sheep. They make us uncomfortable by not doing life like the rest of us. Accept what you don’t like about them until God either changes them or teaches the family mature, unconditional, non-controlling love through them.

4)                  You do your best as an imperfect but loving parent, then your children, not you, make their own choice.

The prophet Samuel’s sons’ did not walk in his ways. They turned aside after dishonest again and accepted bribes and perverted justice (1 Samuel 8:3NIV).

Embarrassing and disappointment, yet! But no charge of spiritual or parental failure is laid on Samuel’s doorstep. As godly a man as ever lived, he walked the talk. But when push came to shove, his son had their options and chose not to do likewise.

However dysfunctional your child may be, under their greatest asset is a parent who responds by faith, not by fixing, by praying, not prying, and who get out of God’s way and let Him work.

Deuteronomy 1:6

The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying you have dwelt long enough at this mountain.’

Life is like an automobile; you need to press something before it will move forward. The world has witnessed terrific advancement in technology, producing all manner of state-of-the-art cars.

But no matter the sophistry you still need to press something to get it moving. That is the situation with life. Those who stop pressing stop making progress.

It is to be noted that moving a vehicle is not just about pressing anything. A uniformed person could put his leg on the break pedal; and rather than moving it will stay glued to the ground. So it is not just about pressing something; it is about pressing the right thing.

Taking and everything that appeal to out fancy. We need to do the right thing.

Our passage underscores how much God detests stagnation.

He wanted His people then, and now, to make progress and to go to the next dimension which He has in purpose for them. However, God did not leave them themselves to figure out what to do or where to go. He gave them detailed instruction of where to turn.

This is contained in the next line of instruction as we have it in Deuteronomy: 1-7.

Turn and take your journey and go to the mountain of Amorites, to all the neighboring places in the plain, in the mountains and in the lowland, in the south and on the seacoast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates”.

It will take God to show us the right thing to press in order to make progress. The onus is us to ask Him, He is always ready to show us the path to follow.

Jesus taught extensively on the importance and power of word.

In Mark 11:23 He said, …. you shall have what you say.” That’s an established law in the realm of the spirit-what you say is what you get whether positive or negative.

Now, bringing this home to our nation, the words we speak about our country will make or mar the peace, progress and development of the nation.

As God’s people, our words are loaded with power (Ecclesiastes 8:4), therefore, let the words you speak about your country be words that will shape, build and establish her in prosperity,  unity, peace, progress and economic stability, and teach others to do the same.

Remember the words of Jesus Christ in Mathew 28:19-20: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.

The word nation in the preceding scripture is from the Greek word” ethnos, meaning a group, a company people of the same nature or genus? A group with common characteristics, vision or trade, it refers to the people in your world of influence – your sphere of contact or interaction-you’re to teach them to observe, practice and carry out the words of Jesus.

This is something every Christian needs to do. You’re to teach those in your “ethnos” the positive lifestyle.

Everyone has his own world. Your world is your sphere of contact; the people you meet and interact with everyday. Thus, you have your world, and I have mine.

For some, their world resolves around themselves, their immediate family and few friends. You hear them say things like “All I need is just to have a en ough for me and my family.” As a Christian, you can’t afford to say that, because you won’t be thinking like God.

God thinks differently. He said to Abraham, through you all nation shall be blessed.” There are many needy people around us and God has made us the answer to their cry. That’s why you can’t be right just to have enough for you and your family alone. You’ve been blessed to be a blessing to your world.

There’s world out there in need of you. Instead of complaining about the society or government not providing the necessary infrastructures; think about what you can do to improve the status quo. Think about what you can do to make life more  comfortable and enjoyable for others.

Expand your world; expand your sphere of contact and let your daily pursuits in life culminate into helping others realize their dreams and goals and build their self esteem.

Prayer point

Dear Lord, thank you for making me relevant in my generation.

I pray that you would open my eyes to opportunities around me to be a blessing a lifter and a helper to others today.

Thank you for positioning me to help others realized their dreams and goals in life, in Jesus Name. Amen.

He was the only child of his father. His dad spent virtually all the resources he had in training and sending him to school in ensuring the soundness of his education. He was love by his parents. He was a cherished and promised child, full of hope and aspirations.

As a result of his parents love for him, he was sent to the United States (a supposed land flowing with milk and honey) to enjoy the full benefit of western civilization. Unfortunately! Sadly! And sorrowfully he got tempted, just once, and engaged in homosexual act and contacted AIDS and died a year later. Sad indeed!

Dear friends, there are devastating consequences associated with the sin of sexual immorality. Learn a lesson from the beloved young man in our story. Jesus Christ condemns sexual sins, in any form or shape. The Bible says in Matthew 7:21 “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornication

*All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” In Galatians 5:19-21 the scripture say “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness of the which I tell you before, as I have told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God .”

In our present day dispensation, sexual immorality involves fornication (sexual act between unmarried partners), Adultery (sexual act between married people), Homosexual (sexual act between same sex male) and Lesbianism (sexual act between same sex female).

This also includes pornography (in any form or shape) and masturbation. Jesus Christ went further to say that if you look at a woman to lust after her in your heart; you have already committed adultery with her in your heart, Matthew 5:27-28.

The consequences of sexual sins cannot be over emphasized:

1) It leads to present and eternal separation from God.

2) Sexual sins will make your worship and prayers unacceptable to God.

3) The guilt of the sin will hinder you from going boldly to God in prayers.

4) Sexual sins will open up doors for the devil to attack you on a daily basis.

5) Sexual sins will leave you completely unprotected by God.

6) Sexual sins will hinder your blessings from God.

7) Sexual sins might lead to your untimely death.

Sexual sins will take the glory of God away from you.

9) Sexual sins can expose you to diseases, such as AIDS, and pestilence and unwanted babies.

10) And finally, continuous rebellion in embarking in sexual sins will consequently land you in hell.

Jesus gave this last warning in Revelation 22:11-12 “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”

Dear friends, repent and give your life to Jesus Christ today, before it’s too late. He is the only one that can give you power to be delivered from the bondage of sexual immorality. Flee from sexual immorality and escape the impending consequences. Repent today, tomorrow might be too late.

Blessed are your eyes for reading this message. Please, don’t let this message die, read it again and pass it to others. We will meet in heaven if you do them.

Romans 6:1-23 :: Contemporary English Version (CEV)

What should we say? Should we keep on sinning, so that God’s wonderful kindness will show up even better? No, we should not! If we are dead to sin, how can we go on sinning?

Don’t you know that all who share in Christ Jesus by being baptized also share in his death? When we were baptized, we died and were buried with Christ. We were baptized, so that we would live a new life, as Christ was raised to life by the glory of God the Father. If we shared in Jesus’ death by being baptized, we will be raised to life with him. We know that the persons we used to be were nailed to the cross with Jesus.

This was done, so that our sinful bodies would no longer be the slaves of sin. We know that sin doesn’t have power over dead people.

As surely as we died with Christ, we believe we will also live with him. We know that death no longer has any power over Christ. He died and was raised to life, never again to die.

When Christ died, he died for sin once and for all. But now he is alive, and he lives only for God. In the same way, you must think of yourselves as dead to the power of sin. But Christ Jesus has given life to you, and you live for God.

Don’t let sin rule your body. After all, your body is bound to die, so don’t obey its desires or let any part of it become a slave of evil.

Give yourselves to God, as people who have been raised from death to life. Make every part of your body a slave that pleases God. Don’t let sin keep ruling your lives. You are ruled by God’s kindness and not by the Law.

What does all this mean? Does it mean we are free to sin, because we are ruled by God’s wonderful kindness and not by the Law? Certainly not! Don’t you know that you are slaves of anyone you obey? You can be slaves of sin and die, or you can be obedient slaves of God and be acceptable to him. You used to be slaves of sin.

But I thank God that with all your heart you obeyed the teaching you received from me. Now you are set free from sin and are slaves who please God. I am using these everyday examples, because in some ways you are still weak. You used to let the different parts of your body be slaves of your evil thoughts.

But now you must make every part of your body serve God, so that you will belong completely to him. When you were slaves of sin, you didn’t have to please God. But what good did you receive from the things you did? All you have to show for them is your shame, and they lead to death.

Now you have been set free from sin, and you are God’s slaves. This will make you holy and will lead you to eternal life. Sin pays off with death. But God’s gift is eternal life given by Jesus Christ our Lord.

You become a slave of whatever you yield your life to, whether to sin or to righteousness. Slavery to sin ends up in death but slavery to righteousness ends up in life and peace. To be carnally minded is death, to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

If you live according to the flesh and its cravings- sin, oversleeping, overeating, excessive watching of movies, excessive browsing/chatting and other indulgences, you will die but if you put to death the deeds of the body you will live. Become a slave of righteousness today that you may live.

Do you want to be reconciled with God, through Jesus the Lord and Saviour? Then say this simple prayer:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and have fallen short of your glory. I genuinely repent from all my sins and pledge to go and sin no more. I accept your plan to reconcile mankind to you through Jesus Christ, who you sent in your name.

 I believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah, and died on the Cross to pay the penalty for my sins and redeem me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I pray that His blood washes my sins away. I invite the Holy Spirit to rule my Life.

Too many of us have made it our life’s work to change someone else’s opinion of us. We’re determined to prove to them that we’re valuable. Now, you can be lie the guy who equipped, i like talking to myself, because i like dealing with a better class of people. But nether can you base your worth on the opinions of those who put you down.

When Harry Truman was thrust into the presidency by the death of Franklin Roosevelt, Sam Rayburn, Speaker of the House, took him aside and said, you’re going to have lots of people around you. And they will tell you what a great man you are, Harry. But you and I both know you ain’t. as it turned out, Truman became a truly great president.

Until you quit agreeing with those who’ve mistreated you, or bowing to be events that crippled you emotionally, you’ll remain locked in a prison of your own making.

When your critic’s opinion becomes your opinion, you’re built a prison inside your should with only one prisoner; you are prepared to accept that some of the people you’ve spent your life trying to impress, may never be impressed? And can you accept that from God’s perspective; it doesn’t matter?

To succeed in life you must be able to work alongside people without allowing you’re self to be controlled by their moods or governed by their opinions.

This is what Paul was talking about when he said, Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? If we were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

One of the utmost desires of believers and unbelievers alike is to record successful achievement. Ministers of the gospel business men and women, politicians, civil servants entrepreneurs, students, government officials and people from all spheres of life pray for success.

To be successful means to prosper in a chosen cause. It is similar to being the head and not the tail. Success and excellence go paripasu. Daniel experience what successful achievement mean because he possessed the spirit of excellence.

Principles of successful achievements
1. Dependence on God: – Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverb 3:5-6

2. Determination: – Determination can not be separated from successful achievement. It is determination that will keep you on the right track

3. Discipline:- Successful people never condone indiscipline. To be disciplined is to be in charge or in control. It can also be seen as the ability to know what to do at the right time and in the right place.

4. Dedication to Diligence: – Diligence is one of the indisputable conducts of successful people. It is what separates the leader from the laities, the rich and the poor, successful people from failures. You can not go far on the ladder of successes without dedication to hard work

The plan of God for your lie is success. It is when you are successful that you will become a channel of blessing to others around you. Failure is alien to the promise of God for you. Have faith in God that He is able to turn you from a failure to a success.

Memorize: and the angel answered and said unto the women, fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus which was crucified”  (Matt.28:5)

In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn to ward the first day of the week Mary Magdalene end the other Mary to see the sepulcher” (Mathew 28:1).

Over the ages, women have prove to be great assets in the Kingdom if God. After the death  and burial of Jesus, most male disciples went into hiding, whereas the female disciples were out at His grave side to show that they still love Him even after death.

The president of a country died. Until his death, sycophants swarmed around him like bees after the honey comb. They sang his praise and licked his feet for what they could get from him. Immediately he died, you would be amazed at the speed with which he was dumped! It took a while before they could even go near the corpse. Every devouer in your life pretending to be a friend shall be uprooted in Jesus name.

The women in this passage were true friend. The Lord will give to you true friends. They went to the grave side of Jesus intending to anoint His corpse (Mark 16:1).

This was an act in unbelief because if they had believed His promise of resurrection, they would not attempt to another to emblem someone who would rise again. Yet they were outstanding in devotion as they were His friendswhile He was alive and remained faithful after His death

It should be borne in mind that the institution of marriage was ordained by God right from time immemorial. After the creation of Adam, God deemed it necessary to provide him with a “help meet” by the name Eve.

 In Genesis 2:18 “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” It was and has ever been the interest of God to see marriage couples live together in peace and love.

 The basis of every Christian marriage should transcend beyond nothing but love. A marriage void of love between both spouses is bound to collapse at the slightest occurrence of life’s turbulent sea. The force of love remains the only cord that can bind both couples together till death do them apart.

That love should be tantamount to an attraction that exists between a magnet and a piece of metal. It would be completely ironic to see a church leader, pastor, or professed Christian ashamed to be seen together with his wife in public. When you become very uncomfortable to be around your spouse in public, then it goes to prove that there isn’t that passion and love for her.

The quest for love to be the foundation of a Christian marriage is not optional, but a vivid commandment and instruction from God. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.”

My experience is that if the husband loves his wife with passion and true love of Christ, ninety percent of the time, the wife would reciprocate that love. The end product is abundant peace and harmony in the home.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of Christian marriages shattered by hatred, bitterness, and regret. Some Christian husbands would say clandestinely, “How in the world did I marry this woman? She is quite older in age, not as educated as I am, not attractive, so tiny or too fat.”

 The Bible says “Husbands, love your wives…” It’s too late; you really have no choice at this time. Whether your wife is five or more years older than you, not attractive, and not as educated, you have been instructed to love her. Doing otherwise would be a clear violation of the scriptures.

Dearly beloved, if you refer to yourself as a Christian husband and you have perfected the act of refraining from helping your wife to shoulder most of her burdens, then you are not fit to be a husband. You seat and watch that poor woman do all the domestic work at home even after she returns from a stressful day at work.

All you do is to treat her like a slave and a second class being. From all life’s ramifications, your wife is supposed to be an embodiment of your joy and all your accomplishments.

Remember that “a bird at hand is worth twice in the bush.” If you are thinking about extramarital affairs or trying to divorce your wife for a demonic loser Jezebel out there, you could be gambling with your entire life’s prospect. Whether your wife is tiny, fat, uneducated, ugly, too short, have attitude problem, an introvert, an extrovert, medical problems, disable, and so on: you have been instructed by God to love her.

As a church leader, trying to use the excuse of a busy work and church schedule to deny your wife the love, passion, and care she needs would be indistinguishable to Christ denying you of His love, forgiveness, and compassion. Love your wife, cherish her, admonish her, and be tender hearted towards her.

Always remember the first time you met her and fell in love with her. Let that love be rekindled and you will feel the express peace of God overshadow your home once again.

3. Confess all sin that has given the enemy legal right to place any curse on you or your household
4. Repent and ask God forgiveness and cleansing
5. I take authority over every curse upon my life, in Jesus name.
6. I command all curse issued against me to be broken, in the name of Jesus
7. I command all evil spirits association with any curse to leave me now in the name of Jesus

Job3:25

Confession

In Jesus name, I have the mind of Christ. I reject, refuse and bind negative though and statements. Right now, I cast down every imagination and high thing exalting itself against the word if God in my life.

My God is the father of faith. I ask and receive the faith in God to increase  in my spirit, in my soul and in my body, in the name of Jesus.

I announce that great is the one that is in me than any devil on the side of my enemies. It is written, “The righteous is as bold as a lion.” By my faith in Christ  Jesus, I am righteous. I receive my divine boldness.

The angles of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him. The angels of God are with me, I have no basis to fear any man, any evil, any evil spirit. Because the Lord of Host is with me, I put confidence in Him.

Praise Worship

Begin to bless the Lord who has comforted you all sides and satisfied your mouth with good things

In the name of the Jesus, I refuse to fear, because God has not given me the spirit of fear, but the power and the love and of a sound mind.

I bind the spirit of fear in my life, in the name of Jesus

Ever power bind every activity of fears in my life, receive the wrath of God and be consumed init, in the name of Jesus

Everything I was afraid of will not come to me in Jesus name

Everything I have feared will not come upon me in the Jesus name.
