It is a new year, a new month, a new week and a New day.  Welcome to the year 2012.  One common expressions in a new year is the greetings ‘Happy new year’. I guess several people most have said that greetings to you this new year and you have also said the greeting to many people in like manner.

The greeting- ‘Happy new year’ implies that each new year should bring about happiness, positive changes, restoration and progress. How could you ensure that you have a happy new year as many people have wished? And Happy New year to you all . The fact that many people have wished you a happy new year does not in any way imply that this year will be automatically be a happy year. Many people were wished a happy new year last year but experienced various forms of afflictions before the end of the year. But it is my prayer that Satan shall not steal your joy this year in Jesus name.

Let us study Revelation 22 vs. 13:

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last”

These are the words of Jesus and they form part of the concluding part of the Holy Bible. What does Jesus means when he said -“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last”

  1. 1.     He is the beginning and end of all things including a new year, a new month, a new day, a new day, and a new hour.
  2. 2.     He knows the end from the beginning and a new beginning from the end.
  3. 3.     He is on top of all situations. The first and best.
  4. 4.     He is a the rear of all situations always protection the people in the font from all harm.
  5. 5.     He is the leader of all situations and on top of all situations.
  6. 6.     He is above all things.
  7. 7.     He is the foundation and the Head of all situations.
  8. 8.     He is on top of all Situations.
  9. 9.     He is the Genesis and Conclusion of all matters.
  10. 10.                        He is the end of all discussions.
  11. 11.                        He has the final say.
  12. 12.                        He knows all things.
  13. 13.                        He knows the strength of the mighty and the weaknesses of the poor and lowly.
  14. 14.                        He is above all situations.
  15. 15.                        He knows all.

From the above analysis, it is obvious that one of the secrets of success in the new year is to provoke the presence of the Alpha and Omega in our situations. If you really wished to have a Happy new year, as many people have wished you, then all you need to do is to recognise the Alpha and Omega, the one that can do all things. How to simply achieve this? Is by making God the first in all things you do.

  1. 1.     Pray to him first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
  2. 2.     Read and Meditate on the Bible early in the morning and night for solutions to your challenges.
  3. 3.     Discuss all you plans with him before you start and when you have concluded.
  4. 4.     Thank him before you start any activity and at the conclusion of all activities.
  5. 5.     Worship him with all your first fruits. Give him an offering from any new income or material that increases you.
  6. 6.     Seek the wisdom of God to solve all your problems and challenges.
  7. 7.     Honour God in all your ways and actions.
  8. 8.     Seek him. Be at his presence as much as possible.
  9. Completely put all your trust in him.
  10. Dedicate all your time and possessions to him.

I am persuaded that as you follow these simple steps, the anointing of the Alpha and Omega shall descend on you and aid you to successfully complete all your assignments in Jesus name.

Prayers:

  1. Alpha and Omega intervene in my situation today in Jesus name
  2. Alpha and Omega, lead me and back me this year in Jesus name
