Bible lessons: Backsliding, Repentance, forgiveness of sin

Jesus Blood can make the Vilest Sinners Clean

Dearly beloved, is your mind convinced that you are destined to carry the load of your sins and die with it? Have you become so addicted to your sinful lifestyle and you think there is no way out?

Is your heart filled with daily guilt of condemnation of all your past and present sins? Have you become so enslaved to your sins to the extent your life is ravaged by them?

Are you a backslider? Remember, the blood of Jesus can restore you. Are you a sinning church member? Remember, the blood of Jesus can sanctify your heart and give you a complete hatred for sin. Are you completely alienated from Jesus? Remember, the blood of Jesus can reconcile you to him.

Watch this beautiful song by “The Gaither Vocal Ban.” It’s only 4:45 minute in duration. It firmly affirms the fact that no matter the depth of your sins, “Jesus blood can make the vilest sinners clean.”

Blessed are your ears for listening to this song. Please, don’t let this song die: listen to it again and pass it to others. We will meet in Heaven if you do them.

    Hello;

    The Bible doesnt teach such thing as a “backslider”.

    What we would normally call a backslider is someone that hasn’t “fallen f0rward” in the first place, meaning he is a false convert. He was pushed to make a decision for Christ or to pray a prayer without any understanding of his sinfulness, God’s righteous judgement, Jesus’ sacrifice and our justification.

    That is why, we should preach the Law before the Grace. We have to let the sinner know that he is a sinner before offering the grace of God. Like taking the time to explain someone that is terminally sick and only then giving the cure to the sickness. Without the disease, the medicine makes no sense.

    Same with the cross. When we expose the lost to the 10 Commandments, and explain that they are in big trouble, then and only then, the mercy of God will make sense and they will embrace it.

    Yes, God can forgive all of our sins… He can wash us clean upon our REPENTANCE and FAITH in Christ. But to get to that point, we have to preach the Law before we mention Grace.

    Thanks for reading…
