The curse of Ham and the Black race
Although the Old Testament scriptures focuses on God’s relationship with the Israelites, God made it clear that in Amos 9:7 that he has the same/similar passion for the black (referred to as Ethiopians/Cushites in the old testament), as he has for the Jews.
Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir? KJV
Do you Israelites think you are more important than the Ethiopians (Cushites), asks the Lord. I brought you out of Egypt, but have I not done as much for other nations? I brought the Philistines from Crete and led the Arameans out of Kir (New Living Translation).
Are not you Israelites the same to me as the Cushites? Did I not bring Israel out of Egypt, the Philistines from Captor and the Arameans from Kir? (Easy-to-Read Version)
It is a passion of salvation and redemption of the race; that a church of pastoral discipleship, of apostolic missionary calling, of evangelism, of prophetic authority will arise from the race, enthroning the lordship of Christ over all nations of the earth.
Acts 10:34-35 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
Romans 10:12-13 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
God is no respecter of persons (races) and will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. I Timothy 2:4.Remember that the restoration of the baptism of the Holy Spirit was restored through a black preacher in Azusa Street at the beginning of the last century. One hundred years after the Asuzu street revival ignited by a black man, year 2008 beckons the black race to a fresh (final?) third millennial revival. Amen, So come Lord Jesus!

Um, to paraphrase Noah’s curse, it was that Ham’s descendants would be the servants of Shem. When we go to the Bible, Israel came from Shem and the people of the promised land (the Philistines, etc) all came from Ham. That’s the curse.
That Ham’s descendants are black people is holdover from racist times — it was a common excuse (taken out of context) used to justify segregation and slavery.
i went to this site becouse my co worker and i got in an argument about the black race he said all black people are cursed, and i have two mixed kids and he is very racist with all other race but white. we did argue a while but he made me crying mad. i realy didnt know much about it so i couldnt realy stand my ground but i know in my heart that i was write that god is the only true judge of me and what ive done in the past but not that i was wrong for having mixed babys but for not being married at the time and not staying with the father of my children. i am married now to a white man that doesnt see coler. can you write me back and give me your opinion to my arguement and some scriptures were i can read about how the black became black. thanks so much stacy craig
