Marriage problems
2008 April 9
Genesis 2 vs 24 King James Bible
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
- God instituted marriage. So it is God’s wish that you get married. Don’t regret getting married. Two are better than one
- In most marriages, we like highlighting the faults and weaknesses of our spouse; and we overlook the strengths.
- If there are genuine weaknesses, think of how you can solve them.
- When you know your weaknesses as a spouse, try and work on them for a change
- There is no perfect man, and there is no perfect marriage. Develop your marriage to become what you like it to become.
- Marriage brings together two strangers, so be patience with each other, and you shall understand each other over a period of time.
- Patience is the key word.
- The closest person to you should be your spouse.
- Don’t criticize your spouse publicly.
- If they are problems in your marriage, take it to God in prayer. He is the founder and foundation of your marriage.

Marriages are made in heaven so accept it
I really regret getting married, not because I am married, but because of the pain of being married to an impossible woman to please and whose is always ready to criticise the the things I do, or according to her, also fail to do. We are both Christians with two of the sweetest daughters. They I do not regret but cherish greatly. So I remain married because I could not see them injured by divorce, but it takes every effort to refrain from walking away from the relationship. The joy of the Lord that I had seems robbed from me. I was a man who prayed intently to the Lord with great enthusiasm but I feel great difficulty in shrugging off my depressions as a result of this marriage ! Also my enthusiasm for life has often waned. Any suggestions ?

my dear brother Anton, i was touched by your email considering it is coming from a man, all i can say is there is power in prayer. you seem so discouraged but keep trusting in the Lord for the joy of the Lord is your strength. I’m married my self, my dailly call is to intercede for my husband who has a temper problem, but i trust that God will nver fail us. if you truly love your wife , your children continue to intercede for your wife. buy the book the power of a praying husband, you will start to notice a diffrence whn you start praying. my God grant you the wisdom that comes from the holy spirt and the strenght to carry on day by day untill some day when you will thank God for the marriage he has blessed you with. God bless you , be strong . Sister Mary
