Any addiction becomes a sin by and by. You should also know that the best way to control such addictions is to crucify your flesh.

Masturbation just like drinking or smoking seeks to satisfy the desires of the flesh. However, if you crucify your flesh particularly through fasting, you will cease to have the lust to satisfy fleshy desires such as masturbation.

Personally, I have noticed that any time I am fasting, the sexual urge for wife my dies. I have to work to improve this, at the end of the fasting.

Therefore, like I stated in the earlier post, masturbation is a sign that your spiritual battery is down, giving room to all sorts of abnormal sexual desires. And if not controlled immediately, it will degenerate into a passion, leading you to think of masturbating when you in the streets or in your office.

The best way to overcome it is by recharging your spirit man, through prayer..and especially fasting.

Note: By your physical strength or self will alone, you may not be able to prevail over masturbation!

You need to charge yourself up in the Holy Ghost.
