- The first and most important thing is your self will and determination. You must be willing to come out of masturbation and lead a normal sexual life in a marriage. So settle it in your mind and develop a strong desire to quit masturbation and other sex sins.
- You may need to change your friends. Most people are introduced into masturbation by friends and peers. If your friends are into masturbation, you need to drop them in order to drop their habits.
- The Bible says evil communications corrupts good morals. Censor your ears and eyes, and watch what your look or listen to. If you are fond of listening to music or films that are full of sexual overtones, then the spirit of sex will be influencing and controlling your mind.
- Feed your spirit. Every sexual act feeds the body. The spirit feeds on the word of God while the body feeds on carnal desires. If you on fire spiritually, you are likely to think more of spiritual things rather than carnal things. Read the Bible, fast and pray. Fellowship with believers.
- Be attached with your spouse. The Bible says it is better to get married than to engage in fornication. If you are a person that has a large sexual appetite, then it is better you get married and always ensure your nature of job does not separate you from your spouse for a long time.
- Expose your weaknesses. Evil thrives in secrecy. Share your sexual weaknesses with your Parents, Guardians, Counselors and Church leaders and ask them to pray for you.

I am really happy to know thet im not the only one itrying to stop this conscience nagging and spirit killing habit. Ive been involved in this act since i was 7. When i started i never knew it as masturbating but i never allowed anyone see me do it. I prayerfully and with determination stopped it last year only to findn myself doing it with all vigour this year. I always told myself this would be the last time , but the last time never came. Thank you so much for this resource. With determination I was able to beat the evil influence of not only masturbation in my life, but also other unnatural acts like eating, sleeping and laughing. It is such a relief to be so utterly under the influence of traditions whose original purpose was to accumulate wealth and make willing soldiers. I am so filled with the spirit of belief where once only my own will existed that life has become simplicity itself. Rather than take responsibility for thoughtful action in a complex and constantly fluctuating moral landscape, I can just be as the sheep, utterly subjugated, mindless, rounded up and used for my wool all the while believing that these actions somehow constitute a fulfilling spirituality that I fail to get from the empirical. I had the same problem, and it started early on in childhood. I still struggle with it, but with God’s help, I’ve gotten much better at self-control. Whenever you feel the slightest impulse, immediately turn to Him! Shift your focus and pray! But if you weren’t able to prevent it from happening, don’t dwell on your failures…it will only lead you deeper into sin. Ask God for forgiveness. Remember God loves you no matter what!

For me i stumbled across it on accident at like age 13. Its taken me 5 years but im FINALY FREE of this terrible sin. THIS IS EXACTLY HOW I DID IT.
1st You have to know, and i meen really know with all your heart that you want to stop now and forever. You need to have that feeling of wanting to please GOD and not yourself. If this is true then Beg God, pray for his help and ask that he will deliver you from this temptation and give you a way out.
2nd REMEMBER THIS: this is what did it for me. Know that God chose you to be his deciple. No one ever came to God, but he drew us to him. Also you have to know what being a deciple meens. A deciple is more than a student. A Deciple is more like an apprentice. So to be a Deciple meens that God is molding you to do what he does. GOD HAS FAITH IN YOU, AND CHOSE YOUR BEFORE YOU WERE EVEN BORN TO BE HIS FALLOWER. Thats the Key remember GOD has FAITH in YOU. So give up your life to him and do his Will instead of your own.
3rd Read the Bible every day. Now i didnt read the bible every day. I tried but ended up reading more like every 2 days and didnt read much. But this is a huge support. Any time you feel bord and want to look up a girl on the internet, read the bible instead. James is an awsome book review that a bunch O times.
4th Last and Easiest. Have faith that God will fill you with the Holy Spirit and you will stop this sin for good.
Seriously thats it. It wasnt terribly hard. If you really want to stop you can for good. I stoped Cold Turkey and havnt done it for like 5 months. and this is coming from a guy who sometimes did it twice a day. Usually around 4-6 times a week on average though. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
